Heartfield Farm offers several types of horse boarding.  All include grain as deemed necessary, hay,  and automatic water's in turn out pastures.

General Box Stall Board:  $265/mo.  - Box stall are 10 x 12 matted stalls.  Horses are stalled when weather is inclement (i.e. severe thunderstorms, tornado weather, excessive rain, cold, snow, etc.)  If weather is pleasant, horses remain outside at night.  During cold winter months horses are in every night, and in case of very severe weather they may remain inside during the day as well.  Turnout is done as much as possible in cold winter months to allow appropriate exercise for horses. Grain is given as deemed necessary when horses are inside as well as hay grown by ourselves.

Full Box Stall Board:  $310/mo - Box stalls are 10 x 12 matted stalls. Horses are in every night regardless of weather conditions year around. Grain is given as deemed necessary with hay grown by ourselves.

Pasture Board.  $200/mo - Horses remain outside day and night.  Shelters are provided to allow animals to get out of severe weather conditions.  Automatic waterers allow horses to have warm water in the winter and cool water in the summer.  Free choice round bales grown by ourselves is given.  Grain is given as deemed necessary. If a pasture boarded horse requires stall rest due to illness or injury, an additional fee of $5/day will be assessed.  Heartfield Farm does not guarantee that there will be an open stall available for this purpose at any given time.

We make every effort to keep each and every horse on our property looking good and feeling good.  Different types of hay is used depending upon the nutritional needs of the horse.

Supplements can be given if purchased by owner in a box stall environment. They can also be given in a pasture environment with an additional $2/day charge.
